1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Seiche Home Goods online store and website and any purchase you make from us (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. The Services are hosted by Shopify.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.

3. Products and Descriptions

We try to describe and display our products accurately. Colors may look different on your screen, and dimensions, weights and materials are approximate. Some products use natural or textured materials such as paper, glass or wood, so small variations are normal. If a product you receive is not as described, your remedy is to return it under our Return and Refund Policy.

Electrical products must be used as directed. Please check the voltage, plug type and installation requirements on each product page before ordering. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with local codes.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in the store currency and do not include taxes or shipping, which are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and contact information.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will refund you in full.

6. Shipping, Returns and Refunds

We ship orders within 30 days of purchase, and you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Full details are in our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

7. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services and their content, including text, graphics, logos and images, are owned by or licensed to Seiche Home Goods and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with their operation or security, to upload harmful code, or to collect information about other users.

10. Third Party Links and Services

The Services may link to or use third party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available". Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seiche Home Goods will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or any product, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seiche Home Goods from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services or products, including improper installation.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict of law rules.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes do not apply to orders placed before the update.
